Grown up
Today I got into a conversation with a random friend from high school. She's about to ship off to law school in my area and thought to contact me. Anyway, she asked me if I ever thought I'd be where I am right now back when we were sophomores in high school together. My answer? No.
So much has changed in the last year alone, not to mention the last eight years. Times have been a lot harder than I ever dreamed and lots of things haven't worked out the way I planned. But I don't have any regrets in my experiences. And more importantly, I really like the person that I've grown up into.
Yes, I really like who that woman is.
