I went with the drama club to M High to see a play called Blithe Spirit. It's a British comedy and it was really funny. Sure, it started off slow and I even nodded a little before intermission, but the cast really made up for it. The special effects they had were awesome. They had plates crashing to the floor, pictures falling off the walls, and the piano CRUMBLING on itself, and all done by invisible ghosts. It was truly amazing. And the actors even used British accents!
But hte people are crazy. They did two different plays in one night. TWO! And they're doing four in a year. Most schools only do two, and they do two in a night. When the first play was over, the crew had twelve minutes to put up the secpnd set. And they moved really fast. It was interesting to watch.
I was having second thoughts about Drama Club, but it mgiht be fun after all.

Went into the city with Squirt, Cousin, Grandma, and Dad to see the Christmas parade. We actually had balloons. Those great big huge ones you see at the Macy's Parade. That was neat, but it was really cold.
"Being optimistic is the way to go, and if it's a flop, at least we had fun flopping!"
