Last night TJ encouraged me to apply at his company because a clerk position just opened up. I was very surprised that he was so enthusiastic about the whole thing. But that would be a great job! Good money, good benefits, good hours, no holidays or weekends. I'd be in heaven if they gave me a call.
But I feel slightly pessimistic right now about this whole job hunt thing. I mean, how many places have I applied to in the past couple days? And how many places in the last 6 months? I feel rather hopeless about the whole thing. Watch. I'm going to end up working at Pier 1 working minimum wage with minimum hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
